About Us
The Manistee County Council on Aging (MCCOA) is an organization that serves all senior citizens regardless of income or ability. The MCCOA was organized in 1971 and operates as a 501(c)(3) non-profit funded by a voter approved millage.
The Manistee County Council on Aging works to keep senior citizens socialized and independent by providing a variety of programs and activities that offer assistance and social interaction to Manistee County residents over the age of 60.
Programs and activities are held at The Wagoner Community Center and alternative sites around Manistee County.

Our Mission
The mission of the Manistee County Council on Aging serves the senior citizens of Manistee County by promoting quality of life and independence by addressing their unique needs and challenges, utilizing a fiscally sound approach.

Board of Directors
The Manistee County Council on Aging is governed by a nine-member volunteer board of directors. All board members are senior citizens.
The board meets at 2 p.m. on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at the Wagoner Community Center.
